Before the session
Choose your date, gather a small reference board and decide who, if anyone, is joining you
On arrival
Talk through your priority looks, props and any photographs you definitely want to make.
During the shoot
Your photographer guides your position, hands, expression and movement while shaping the lighting around each look.
Outfit changes
Move from your timeless look to your statement look without rushing. Fewer strong outfits usually beat six hurried ones.
Group portraits
If friends or family come along, build them into a planned part of the session rather than trying to squeeze everyone in at the end.
Your favourites
Review your gallery, choose the images you love and we'll professionally edit them for you.
Feeling nervous is completely normal, and most people do at the start. You don't need to know how to pose. Your photographer takes care of the light, the angles and the flow of the session, and guides you through every look until it feels natural.
